Among the longest lived organisms on the planet, the Giant Sequoia have massive roots to support its height and girth. To stand beside these is to feel small in a way that multiplies appreciation for this feat of engineering from what was once just a small seed.
When asked what I "do", I generally answer' "Yes". I have worked professionally in pencil, pen, paint than 40 years and in digital media almost as long. Change is important to me as it lays the ground for play and exploring which is a vital part of everything I do. An illustrator at heart, whether my work is an abstract, figurative, mural or a cartoon, I tend to tell stories with my art. Sometimes the story is about what is shown, other times it is about the the media and how it is made.
